Sunset in Sant Antoni

Sant Antoni, besides being the home of our Ibiza Feeling hotels, is a world-famous enclave for the sunsets that can be enjoyed from its coast. The summer months gift us the ideal position of the sun to enjoy this magical moment of the day, as the king star submerges into the horizon of the Mediterranean Sea in a spectacular way. Watching the sunset has become a sort of homage to the dusk, where hundreds of tourists and locals celebrate this natural gift by breaking into applause. There are several key places to experience this and turn it into something unforgettable, and at Ibiza Feeling, we want to help you discover them.

The most famous and festive place to experience this time of day is the Ses Variades promenade. Perhaps the name doesn't ring a bell, but when I tell you it's the area of Café del Mar and Café Mambo… it's starting to sound familiar, right? In addition to this well-known venue, there are several terraces, cafes, and bars with a more festive atmosphere where you can live the sunset experience with a cocktail in hand right on the seafront. To get to Ses Variades, you can walk along the first section of the promenade, starting right in front of The Red Hotel, and it will take you barely 15 minutes in a delightful walk with magnificent views.

Another very special place is the Caló des Moro area, a small sandy beach located at the end of the promenade. Aside from the charm of this small urban cove, from here you can see a sunset well worth enjoying. The sun hides on the horizon of the Bay of Sant Antoni next to the islet of Sa Conillera. Here you can enjoy the sunset from the sand itself, from the wooden platforms installed on the sides, or from the venue you will find behind you: Golden Buddha. A meeting place for locals during the winter and a haven of peace during the summer. One last corner of Sant Antoni that we recommend for this time of day is from the Aquarium de Cap Blanc. It is the Marine Species Recovery Center where, apart from enjoying a cold beer and wonderful views, you can observe marine species from the islands. If you continue along the same promenade that took us to Caló des Moro, just 10 minutes later you will find this charming bar on the rocks and the sea.
